The "C Style" Master Lock-Jaw is available in two standard configurations.

The holding length changes according to type of master Jaw chosen. The exact dimension of | the holding length is denoted in the catalog by the "H" or "*H".

Figure 1 represents the standard "C Style" master with a holding length of "H".

Figure 2 displays a low profile "C Style" master Lock-Jaw which has a shorter holding length than a standard "C Style" master Lock-Jaw. The exact holding length of a low profile "C Style" is denoted by the "H*" dimension. This "C Style" master Lock-Jaw uses the same insert as a comparable "D Style" master Lock-Jaw.

To order a standard "C Style" master Lock-Jaw, choose the Lock-Jaw order number which corresponds to the mounting dimensions of the chuck to be fitted and add a 
"-C" to that number.
**Example - Lock-Jaw order number 10-61. add "-C" = 10-61-C

To order a low profile "C Style" master Lock-Jaw add a "D" after the Lock-Jaw order number for a standard "C Style" master Lock-Jaw.
**Example - Lock-Jaw order number 10-61-C add "D" = 10-61-CD

Maximum recommended holding diameter :

12" diameter chuck or smaller: 
(The diameter of the chuck) - 2(L+.250)

13" diameter chuck or larger : 
(The diameter of the chuck) - 2(L+.500)
